Question: I have accidentally dropped the AutoZap 5 and it no longer works… I understand this is my fault, but I am wondering if I can send it in and you can fix it rather than me having to discard it… If that is possible, how much would that cost? Thank you!
Answer: No worries, things happen. Fortunately your AutoZap 5 is extremely rugged and there’s little that could cause it to stop working – the main things to check are the jack where the cable plugs in, and the batteries. If the jack is broken you’ll need to mail it to us and we can fix it for a nominal cost.
If the batteries are loose, which can happen after rough handling like you described, then you may be able to save a lot of time by fixing it yourself — just follow along with this easy video that goes over the process and it should only take a few minutes to get zapping again.
