Question:  I have bought two AutoZap 5 zappers from you in the past and have had great results treating hepatitis.  However, for some reason they break down on me easily, even the last one I bought did not last for more than a year.  I’m not sure what went wrong, but the wire that connects to the zapper has salt residue around it.  How long are they supposed to last?  I would like to purchase another.

Answer:   Note that we do not make any medical claims, and do not treat, diagnose or cure disease.  Thanks for the feedback about hepatitis, we’re thrilled to hear about it.

The AutoZap 5 is a rugged machine built to withstand many years of normal use.  Your comment about salt residue is troubling. How was your AutoZap 5 exposed to salt water?

We do not recommend using salt water with the Zapper or any accessory of the Zapper (e.g. contacts, handholds, wires, footpads, etc).  We have not found salt to be necessary for conductivity.  It only causes corrosion, which is unfortunate for anyone who does choose to use salt water with the AutoZap 5 against our recommendations.  Please see the video on Should I Use Salt for better Conduction with the Zapper?
