The need for Probiotics preceded the birth of the Zapper, and the need is even stronger now that we are living in a complex world that is so destructive to our gut.

The research shows that we have many bacteria, fungi and microbes living in and on us, in a mutually beneficial way, like a good mini-ecosystem in our body. Did you know you have an internal Garden growing bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites? This is your microbiome.

Our body is made up from a number of them, i.e. skin, mouth, bowel, gut, etc.  When we understand that most of these microbes and bacteria are helpful to us, and we actually benefit from them, we should focus more on strengthening the good bacteria vs destroying the bad bacteria.  Good gut flora means a strong immune system, and a strong immune system is our best ally.

The Ecogenetics paper says it like this:
We humans are mostly microbes, over 100 trillion of them. Microbes outnumber our human cells ten to one. The majority live in our gut, particularly in the large intestine. The microbiome is the genetic material of all the microbes – bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses – that live on and inside the human body. …..The bacteria in the microbiome help digest our food, regulate our immune system, protect against other bacteria that cause disease …..the microbiome was not generally recognized to exist until the late 1990’s. …….The microbiome is essential for human development, immunity and nutrition. The bacteria living in and on us are not invaders but beneficial colonizers.…”

Not all microbes and bacteria are bad. BUT the overgrowth of the bad bacteria (dysbiosis) is not good. A state of dysbiosis is where there is an imbalance in the gut flora – where there are more harmful bacteria and less beneficial bacteria.

What specifically destroys our good bacteria?

Research is now identifying issues that are harming or even destroying our gut bacteria. Here is a list of some of them:

  • Prescription Drugs – Antibiotics (the downside of antibiotics is possible long-term gut flora damage. With repeat antibiotics use, the situation gets worse. Must supplement with Probiotics afterwards.)
  • Including Antidepressants (SSRI’s), sleeping pills, anti-cholesterol drugs, vaccinations.
  • Chemicals – Pesticide and Herbicide use including glyphosate use on non-organic foods.
  • Over-sanitation such as antibacterial cleaners, soaps, shampoos with triclosan, Over the counter products such as aspirin, mouthwash, laxatives, painkillers.
  • Diet – lack of prebiotic foods in the diet (MUST have fiber rich food), over consuming carbohydrates and processed foods (sugars cause yeast overgrowth and inflammatory bowel disease), chlorinated drinking water, food coloring.
  • Lifestyle – stress, lack of sleep, lack of exercise, cigarette smoking, alcohol use.

Studies on Zapper Use and Gut Flora

We have not done specific studies on gut flora and the use of the Zapper and are not aware of any conducted so far. Dr. Clark did not write about it.

Looking at the list above of things known to harm our gut today, we advise every single person whether on the zapper or not, to check their level of exposure. Anyone going through any cleansing or detox protocol (including using the Zapper) should eliminate every risk factor on the list, include the foods from the following list, and supplement with probiotics.

What can you eat to stop bad bacteria taking over?

Once you have eliminated the risk factors of prescription drugs, chemical exposure, and lifestyle issues, here are foods to add to your diet to improve your gut flora.

  • Fiber. Whole grains, beans and legumes, and whole fruit and vegetables, chia.
  • Fermented foods. Natural sauerkraut, kimchi, miso, kefir, pickled foods, apple cider vinegar.
  • Good to eat: Dandelion greens, broccoli, asparagus, raw garlic, raw leeks, onions.
  • Roughage: raw jicama, flaxseed, hemp seed, pumpkin seed.
  • Fruits: Berries, under ripe bananas, apples, mango.

Wishing you the best in health,
