Question: Why do you not use hand-held copper pipes?  Thank you.  TJ

Answer:  While working with Dr. Clark for a few years and gleaning knowledge and understanding that may not be written in her books, we came to realize some key aspects about the copper pipes.  We realized that the foundational issue is conduction, not the copper.  We also realized that zapping required at least 4 square inches of area to provide a good zapping contact.  Smaller areas with thin wrist straps have more tendency for rashes, burns, and skin irritation.

The reason Dr. Clark used copper is that it was a good conductor.  She needed a good conductor to make sure the zapper frequency was not lost while zapping.  The copper was a contact point only, as there was no magic in the copper itself.  Dr. Clark made sure that each copper pipe was to be covered with brown paper towel (non-bleached) to keep the toxic copper from getting into the skin while you had your hands on them.

Over the 10+ years we used the copper pipe we found that buying large quantities of copper, cutting it down, many times getting cut on the raw edges of copper shards, smoothing the edges in a tumbler, and then shipping them worldwide was not practical or wise or cost efficient.  We taught people how they could make their own metal footpads for themselves.  Or even make them out of tin foil.  As long as the foil was covered with paper towel, as tin foil is also a great conductor.

There are other conductive materials that are easier to ship and not as suspicious as copper pipes.  We began to use the TENS accessories such as conductive gloves, and expanded that to custom wrist straps, and we have now moved to conductive Cuffs, and conductive silicone.  All these accessories have different benefits, as some now do not even require extra moisture or spray of water for a good contact.

Some people still use copper pipes, cover them up and get good contact for zapping.  We have moved to lighter and travel friendly products, which are equally as good conductors, and more adaptable for our pets.
