COPPER PIPES – TUBES – HANDHOLDS FAQ

For many years we have supplied copper pipes as handholds, but not any more.  There was not only the cost in buying and shipping copper, but that we created a great wide band velcro wristband (SuperStraps) alternative. We now supply our wide band velcro conductive wristband (SuperStraps), or conductive gloves, or even instructions for footpads you make yourself.  These have all replaced the original copper pipes as quality contacts.

Dr. Clark began using copper pipes with the Zapper because no other form of contact had been developed that had adequate contact area with consistent conductivity for the user.

For the sake of our first buyers who all received the copper pipes as handholds, this Q & A page is especially for you.

Why don’t you supply copper pipes any more?  Copper pipes were the original form of contacts we used for the zapper.  Copper pipes are still used today.  However, we prefer wristbands which are lighter, more transportable, and work as well as the copper pipes used to.  We find that our 2 inch custom wristbands with a large enough contact surface area and great conductivity are an easier solution.  We have been supplied them now for over 5 years.

Here is a helpful video on the topic:  Using the Zapper with Wristbands

Can you supply copper tubes/copper pipes?  We do not supply the copper tubes.

Candida Question:   I am really needing an alligator clip together with the two tubes because I have external candida in places where the AutoZap 5 can not reach.  Could you double check if you have any of these items around your store, please? I really need these tubes and i need the alligator clips to connect these to the zapper  I appreciate your help,  Thank you – k

Answer:  Hello K,  Although we don’t include alligator clips anymore, I will send some to you separately.  The copper tubes are less convenient than our SuperStraps and certainly less comfortable; the wristbands are an improvement in every way over the old copper handholds. You don’t need to apply them directly to affected areas as the zapper’s effect isn’t restricted to the places where it makes direct contact – it works throughout the entire body, wherever there is blood flow.

It’s also worth noting that most people with systemic candida will experience the infamous cleansing crisis, or Herxheimer reaction, when the candida begins to be flushed from the body. PLEASE try only a single 5-minute Fast Zap session and wait a full day to give your body time to adjust the first time you use it. Taking a day off is completely acceptable, and may be necessary. Drink plenty of clean fresh water to assist in flushing out the toxins as you cleanse and heal.

There’s some extremely helpful information on our Hulda Clark Action Plan site and I encourage you to check it out, sign up for the emails, and in particular have a look at the cleanses that Dr. Clark recommended in order to get the most from your AutoZap 5 Integrated Wellness System.

Copper Pipes:  Will airport security be a problem for me?    Answer:  We always take our Auto Zap 5 zapper along on trips, and have never had a problem.  We do not carry the copper pipes (handholds) for obvious reasons.  We usually place our zapper unit in our carry on luggage and use the conductive glove contacts, which are so easy to use at any time.

Alternately we pack aluminum foil for foot pads in our luggage, which is convenient for travel, as it weighs almost nothing and packs easily at the edge of any suitcase.  Aluminum foil is readily available in most countries of the world, so you can also pick some up wherever you travel to.  If you use foot contacts, be sure to take zapper wires with the clip ends.  See our video here.

Can I hold the bare pipes?  Answer:  We recommend using damp paper towel around the copper handholds as you were initially instructed.  DO NOT hold the bare metal, as the electrical signal could drive metal ions into the skin.  Always use at least two layers of paper towel.

THEY TARNISH QUICKLY.  Is that normal?  Also, how often should you replace the copper pipes?     Answer:  The handholds last indefinitely.  The tarnish or darkening is harmless, and does not affect their effectiveness.  You can remove it by soaking the pipes in a cup of warm vinegar with a teaspoon of salt in it.  We have never done that here, though.

Can I use them on OTHER PARTS OF THE BOD?Y?  Does it hurt to put the handholds on other parts of the body instead of using hands:  is it as effective using it on arms, chest or abdomen, legs or feet?   Answer:  The effect seems to be systemic via the bloodstream, but feel free to experiment.  Try to get at least four square inches of solid contact area on each contact point to prevent skin irritation.

Should I add SALT WATER to increase conductivity?    Answer: No.  We do not recommend using salt with the copper pipe handholds, or with the footpads, or with the conductive gloves, or with the velcro wriststraps.  We find salt causes corrosion and does not increase the conductivity of any part of the zapper.  Please do not use salt water.Zapper electrodes: better with paper or cloth?

Question:  We have the AutoZap…My question is about the paper towel wrapped and dampened [to cover the zapper electrodes]. Have you any thought about substitutes, such as cheese cloth wrapped a couple or more times and dampened, or cotton flannel?  Or is it just best and most proven that paper towels are the only way? – P.W.

Answer:  Cloth can work well for zapper electrodes, especially if it’s made of pure cotton or other natural fiber. But paper towel is easy to change when it gets a bit dirty, and it lasts a reasonable length of time…

SEE THE POST:  What are footpads.  Do you supply them?   Just in case you want to make your own footpads.

WHICH ARE BEST: – wristbands, gloves or footpads?  Here the post on that.

We hope this helps,
