Question:  What is the best Zapper contact form to use?  Wristbands, Gloves, Foot pads?

Answer:  Here is a description of the different contacts we provide for the AutoZap 5 Zapper.  Everybody is different and has different needs for their zapping.

Wristbands – Need to be dampened with a water spray before using to make sure you get a good contact.  Some people find wristbands are very convenient, because you still have your hands free to use the computer or phone etc.  Easily washable with mild soap and dried in the sun.  With pregnancy or a pacemaker, we recommend Leg Zapping or Footpads..

Gloves – Do not need to be dampened for good contact.  They can fit on your hand yet still allowing you to use your hands.  They are very easy to travel with. They are easy for kids to use, as you can slip the gloves on their hands or even their feet.  Gloves are lightweight, but unfortunately not suitable for a very large hand.  With pregnancy or a pacemaker, we recommend Leg Zapping or Footpads.

Foot pads – To be used by someone who is pregnant or has a Pacemaker.   Foot pads are suitable for people who like to sit and read, write, knit, etc. The silicone footpads we offer are lightweight, do not need to be sprayed with water for a good contact, and are our most hygienic option for large families or group settings.

Foot pads used to be something you make for yourself.  Please read the post What are Footpads, do you supply them for information on how to make great foot pads.  Since we have discontinued zapper leads with copper clips, we now offer the Silicone Foot Pad strips, which are my personal favorite.  The easy wash and dry makes them perfect for multi person use.  Right now (2020), we are getting our website updated with the silicone Footpad information.  Please contact us if you would like these.

We hope this helps,

The Best Zapper team
