Question: I purchased your zapper a few years back and absolutely love it. I was wondering if I could wash the wrist straps? If so, do you have any recommendations as to the best way to do this? Thank you so much. – E
Answer: Someone else wrote something similar: “The yellow wristband now smells. I placed it under the sun hoping to eliminate it but it did not work. Having said so, is it safe to wash this yellow wristband without compromising the effectivity of it?”
This is an important question. The wristbands are similar to any clothing item that sits against the body, and will require cleaning from time to time. The wristbands or straps (superstraps) can be hand-washed gently with pure water and unscented soap such as Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile soap. Rinse and air-dry in the sun. Gentle washing by hand is recommended to keep the inner conductive carbon fabric from degrading.
Keep those straps clean!
