Reply: did some (slightly panicked) research. Took out the batteries for a while and then it just started again. I really can’t remember how old it is… but it is great. Since I have just picked up lymes again I really need it just now!!!

There is a “reset” for the Zapper you need to know about when you change batteries, starting it up after a long time of non-use, or even being dropped. It is simple to do. It really means that you remove the batteries, insert them again, and WAIT for one minute before starting your AutoZap 5 again. Here are helpful links on this site for you.
