Question:  I bought an Auto Zap 5 some time ago. I think it was the first time I used it, I dropped the little Auto Zap box and it has not worked since. I need to have it fixed as I am battling parasites. What do I do. I literally used it once?

Answer: It sounds like you dropped the small AutoZap 5 box, not the larger zappicator.  When you push Button A (start) a red light should come on indicating the Fast zapping cycle is about to start.  The green contact light should be illuminated showing the circuit is operating correctly and there is no wire breakage or problem with the straps or gloves.   Usually dropping it does not cause any big problems.

But here are a few things to help us figure out the problem.  It is usually something fairly simple.

1.  Batteries.  It sounds like the unit has hardly been used but just in case, here is the information on checking the batteries.  Battery orientation matters.  Does the unit rattle after dropping?  It could be the battery contacts.  But if you hear no rattle I am assuming that is not a problem.  But you could slide out the battery cover to make sure the batteries are seated snugly.  Here is our link to battery care information  and also this link.

2.  Contacts.   If the green contact light does not light up after the initial red light comes on, you have a “contact” issue.  Change out your wires with the spare set we included with your order, and attach the wrist straps or gloves to the wires.
